HOW IT HAPPENED
- Clarkson scored the first 11 goals of the game as they owned a 10-0 advantage after the opening quarter.
- Caron got Canton on the board off a feed from Dayter with 5:33 left in the second stanza and Dayter found the back of the net just over a minute later. After another Knight goal, Emily Vogt recorded her first goal of the season off a pass from Morgan Montgomery. The hosts led 13-3 at intermission. Â
- Dayter, Casey Pelton and Caron added second half goals for the Roos in the 20-6 defeat.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Dayter paced the Roos with two goals, two assists and four draw controls. Caron finished with two goals and picked up a game-high seven draws.
- Julia Lavarnway recorded a game-high 11 points on two goals and nine assists for Clarkson. Sofie Mangino posted five points, while Madelynn Barnum, Lauren Shanahan and Chrissy Benedict all supplied four points each.
- Olivia Scott made 10 saves in goal for Canton tallying a game-best five ground balls.
- Jennaca McGill allowed three goals without making a save in the first half, while Danni Moran turned aside one shot surrendering three goals in the second half.
- SUNY Canton had a 15-14 edge in draw controls, while the Knights had the upper hand in ground balls (16-9). Canton went 6-for-11 on clears, while Clarkson was 12-for-14.
- The Roos were 1-for-1 on free-position shots, while the Knights were 2-for-5.
