  • Location: Roos House – Canton, NY
  • Records: SUNY Canton (12-12-0) | Arcadia University (5-14-3)
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Arcadia got on the board just 18 seconds into the first period when Aaron Hamel picked up a rebound and snuck it under freshman goaltender Kelson Hooper to give the Knights a 1-0 lead.
  • McCormack evened things at 5:01 of the first, corralling the puck and ripping a shot top corner that displaced the goalies water bottle and tied the game 1-1.
  • McCormack scored his second of the night to put the Roos up 2-1 at 15:48 of the period.
  • Arcadia opened the scoring again in the second period on a Drew Iannucci goal at 4:24.
  • The Roos rattled off three-straight on goals by Sirota, McKinnon and senior Matthew Headland.  Hamel scored his second of the game later in the period.
  • Sam Martin closed out the scoring in the second with less than 30 seconds remaining.  Martin won a faceoff to the right of Jeb Lindy and dipsy doodled past the goaltender before depositing the puck into the open net.
  • Arcadia would add two goals in the third to get within one, but Sirota scored a empty-netter in the final seconds to secure the victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • Sirota leads the Roos with 11 goals on the season and his two goals moves him into a tie with Brendan Morrow for first with 19 points.
