Evan Pringle and junior
Brendan Morrow each had a goal and an assist for the SUNY Canton men's hockey team, but the Roos dropped a late 4-3 decision to Albertus Magnus on Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Zane Kindrachuk scored the opening at 10:50 of the first period with the assist to Sam Anderson.
- Charles Lavoie scored the second goal for the Falcons at 14:09 of the second.
- Pringle opened the scoring in an exciting third period. With the Roos on a five-on-three power play, Pringle wristed a shot past Falcon goaltender Logan Bateman at 1:11 of the period. Sophomore Scott Cremen and Morrow assisted on the goal.
- Morrow tied the game 2-2 just three minutes later when Pringle found him at the side of the cage with a nifty pass through traffic, and Morrow tucked it into the open net. Cremen earned the secondary assist.
- Freshman Jackson Drysdale scored the Roos third-straight goal and gave the Roos a 3-2 lead just over two minutes later, ripping a shot over the glove hand of Bateman. Freshmen Jordan Prepszl and Niko Schoner both earned assists.
- Cameron Weitzman tied the game 3-3 at 9:57 of the third and Zeth Kindrachuk put the Falcons back on top, scoring the game winner at 13:01.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Morrow and Pringle both now have three goals and eight points on the season. Schoner's assist gives him a team-leading ten points.
- Canton was 1/4 on the power play and a perfect 4/4 on the penalty kill.
- Albertus Magnus had an edge in faceoffs 41-31.
- Sophomore Nate Hopkins made 41 saves for the Roos, Bateman made 18 for the Falcons.
