Alexas Marshall each notched 10 kills as the SUNY Canton women's volleyball team swept SUNY Poly in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) match (25-15, 25-19, 25-11) on Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first set, the Roos jumped out to a 5-2 lead on a Dreyer kill. The Wildcats scored four-straight to take a short-lived lead, before Canton recaptured the lead 13-9 on a Marshall kill. The Roos would not trail again, scoring eight of the next 14 points en route to a 25-15 win.
- In the second set, it was SUNY Poly who took advantage first, leading 4-1 early. After both teams traded points, the Roos scored eight straight, capped on a kill by sophomore Sammie Frank. Canton took a commanding 21-10 lead on a Dreyer kill and, despite a late push by the Wildcats, closed out the set 25-19.
- In the final set, senior Cadin Taggart capped an early Roo run with an ace to put the Roos up 4-1. SUNY Poly recaptured the lead 6-5 on a Kierra Connor ace, but Canton rattled off five straight, including two consecutive aces by sophomore Brooke Hite, to go ahead 10-6. The Roos pushed the lead to 17-8 on a kill by freshman Hannah Lombardi and scored six straight at the end of the set to win 25-11 and sweep the Wildcats 3-0.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Senior Kaylee Clark led the Roos with 13 digs while Frank registered 11 digs and 28 assists.
- Junior Sarah Towles recorded four aces to go with her eight digs. Â Hite logged three aces as did Taggart who also was credited with eight digs.
- The three-set sweep was the Roos second of the season.

The Roos travel to Quincy, MA to face Eastern Nazarene College and SUNY Delhi in more NAC action, Saturday October 21
st at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
