Sarah Balcom tallied a team-best 15 kills on the day but the SUNY Canton women's volleyball team dropped a pair of North Atlantic Conference (NAC) matches to Eastern Nazarene and SUNY Delhi on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
MATCH 1 - BOX SCORE
- The Lions jumped out to a 13-2 lead early on and cruised to a 25-9 win in the opening set.
- The Roos led 7-5 to start the second stanza after an ace from Sarah Balcom, two kills from Sammie Frank and a kill from Emily Dreyer. ENC ran off 10 straight points in the middle of the frame to open a 19-11 advantage on their way to taking the second set 25-16.
- The hosts got off to a 13-3 start in the third. Canton trimmed the lead to five on multiple occasions but was unable to get closer than that as the Lions scored the final five points to secure the 25-15 win and sweep.
- Dreyer paced the Roos with seven kills, while Frank added four kills and 13 assists.
- Eliana Baran and Maria Clarabuch supplied 11 kills each for the Lions.
MATCH 2 - BOX SCORE
- Delhi scored the first six points of the second match of the day opening a 17-7 advantage en route to a 25-12 win in the opening set.
- The second stanza saw the Broncos cruise to a 25-13 victory.
- The Roos battled taking the third and fourth sets by identical scores of 25-20.
- Play was nearly even in the deciding fifth set with Delhi leading 9-8 but the Broncos scored the final six points to take the set and match, 15-8.
- Sarah Balcom led the Canton attack with 12 kills and added 20 digs defensively, while Hannah Lombardi supplied six kills. Frank finished with 25 assists, 17 digs and three aces.
- Chloe Elsenbeck paced Delhi with 15 kills, while Sage Renneisen and Finley Benn tallied 10 kills each.

The Roos are back in action on Wednesday when they visit SUNY Potsdam at 7 p.m.
