HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Roos jumped on the scoreboard with just 43 seconds remaining in the first period on a power play goal by Martin.  A Trevor Christopher shot from the point was deflected on net by Matthew Headland and saved by Amcats goaltender Aiden Richardson.  Martin pounced on the rebound and deposit the puck into the net for a 1-0 SUNY Canton lead.

  • Martin would help re-establish the lead at 4:10 of the third period when his hard shot rebounded off Richardson's leg pad and right onto sophomore Brendan Morrow's stick.  Morrow buried the rebound to put the Roos on top 3-2.  The goal was also assisted by junior Trevor Christopher.
