Canton, NY – Quran DuBois and
DeMerrill Levy combined for 45 points but a strong first half carried visiting Cazenovia College to an 89-81 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The visitors jumped out to a quick 11-0 lead less than three minutes in. The Roos were able to trim the deficit to 30-28 after a Levy three-pointer with 5:02 left in the opening half.
- Cazenovia closed the half on a 19-5 run to take a commanding 47-33 lead into intermission.
- The Wildcats took their largest lead of the game at 20 (62-42) with 12:52 remaining. Canton got within single digits (78-70) after a Fadil Atcha-Dedji layup with 4:10 remaining, but that was as close as the Roos would get the rest of the way.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- DuBois poured in a game-high 24 points, while Levy tallied 21 points on 9-for-15 shooting to go with four assists. Terrence Fields chipped in 16 points and eight rebounds, while JJ Omaga added nine points. Brennan Harmer recorded four assists and Atcha-Dedji ripped down a team-high nine boards.
- The 21 points were a career-high for Levy besting his previous mark of 20 earlier this season v. Cobleskill.
- Kobe Bogart led the visitors with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Alan Wilmes Jr. also had a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Nate Klein (15), Christian Sage (14), Marshall Withers (12) and Devin Dennard (10) all reached double figures in a balanced attack for the Wildcats.
- Play was mostly even overall with Cazenovia holding a 50-38 points in the paint advantage and shooting 46% from the field compared to 40% for the Roos.
