Quran DuBois scored a career-high 34 points to lead the SUNY Canton men's basketball team to a 101-93 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win v. Thomas College on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos jumped out to an early 9-1 lead less than two minutes in, and Canton would extend their lead to 10 (25-15) midway through the first half after a DuBois three-pointer.
- The hosts took their largest lead of the game into intermission at 17 (55-38) after a Moustapha Biao layup with nine seconds left.
- Thomas methodically worked to chip away at the deficit and were able to get within four points with 8:15 left in the second half (76-72). That was as close as they would get the remainder of the way as the Roos held off the Terriers for the win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- DuBois led all players with 34 points shooting 13-for-18 from the field and 4-for-7 from three. His previous career high came last season at Hunter when he scored 32 points. Terrence Fields supplied 24 points with four assists on 8-for-15 shooting. JJ Omaga and DeMerrill Levy chipped in 15 points apiece on 10-for-19 shooting.
- Sawyer Deprey (21) led four Terriers in double figures as James Thomas Phelan (19), Kory Winch (17) and Rico Limcaoco (14) all accomplished the feat.
- Canton shot nearly 52% from the field and 42% from three-point range, while Thomas posted marks of 55% and 35%, respectively.
- Thomas committed 21 turnovers compared to just 12 for Canton. The Roos had the upper hand in bench points (33-25), while Thomas controlled points in the paint (46-34).
