HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Potsdam held a slim 17-15 shots on goal advantage as the teams headed to first intermission tied at one.

Seven minutes later it was Sirota finding the back of the net off assists from Filip Jakobsson and Scott Cremen. • Morrow added an important insurance marker just 35 seconds into the third period off passes from Pringle and Reilly McKinnon.
  • Potsdam got one back at 9:46 of the third off the stick of Jeremy Quesnel.
  • The Bears pulled the goalie for the extra skater with 1:12 remaining, but Hooper saved the lone shot he faced as the Roos earned the win.
