Alaina Beane recorded two hits each but visiting SUNY Delhi exploded for 12 runs in the fourth and fifth innings to earn a 14-6 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams scored two runs each in the second inning. Beane singled home Chavarri and Tasli plated Sophia Padilla-Gundersen on an RBI single.
- The Roos took a 5-2 lead tacking on three more runs in the third. Chavarri singled home Austin, Beane scored Knapp on a base hit and Gundersen brought across Chavarri on a sacrifice fly.
- The Delhi bats exploded down the stretch as they scored seven runs on seven hits in the fourth inning and five more runs on three hits in the fifth for the run-rule win in five innings.
- Beane went 2-for-3 with two runs and 2 RBI, while Harris had a pair of hits. Chavarri, Tasli, Gundersen and Angelina LoPiccolo had a hit and RBI each.
- Mel Papuli went 2-for-4 with two runs and 4 RBI, while Caitlyn Gallagher and Katelynn Rose had two hits each and combined to drive in five runs.
- Papuli earned the win for the Broncos tossing three innings in relief allowing two runs with five strike outs and three walks.
- Chavarri took the loss for the Roos giving up seven earned runs with two strike outs and a walk in five innings.

The Roos are back in action on Sunday when they visit Cazenovia at 12 p.m. and SUNY Poly at 4 p.m. in a rare two road game day to close out the NAC regular season with a pair of make-up games.
