Fourteen Different Roos Score in Road Win at Wells

Aurora, NY – Fourteen different SUNY Canton players found the back of the net as the Roos men's lacrosse team earned a 21-6 non-conference win at Wells College on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED  
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • Olsen led the Roos with six points on three goals and three assists, while Goodnough and Robinson tallied two goals and two assists each. Erskine chipped in two goals and one assist, while Amell and Moore had two goals each. Jacobs, Mesler and Fingar supplied a goal and two assists each.
  • Amell and Noel Abreu led all players with seven ground balls each, while Abreu and Erskine combined to go 24-for-30 on face offs.
  • Jacob Stine paced Wells with five goals.
  • The Roos controlled shots (64-27), ground balls (40-19) and face offs (24-6).
  • Sam Servati earned the win playing the first half in goal making four saves, while Trent Dow played goal for the Roos after halftime with seven stops.

The Roos are back in action on Saturday when they host SUNY Delhi in their North Atlantic Conference opener at 1 p.m.
