Canton, NY – Austin Mesler and 
Alex Jacobs scored two goals each but a strong first half led visiting SUNY Delhi to a 17-7 win over SUNY Canton in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opener for both teams on Monday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- Delhi scored the first three goals of the game and led 5-1 after the opening quarter. Tanner Amell had the lone goal for the Roos through the first 15 minutes.
- Noah Robinson tallied his fifth of the year in the second quarter but five more Bronco scores gave the visitors a commanding 10-2 lead at intermission.
- Delhi scored the only two goals of a low scoring third quarter and the first of the fourth to lead 13-2.
- Jacobs and Mesler both scored twice in the fourth quarter along with Zack LaFave's second of the season resulting in the 17-7 final.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
	- Mesler and Jacobs had two goals each, while Caeden Goodnough and Hunter Olsen supplied two assists each.
- Sam Servati finished with 14 saves and six ground balls for the Roos, while Goodnough added four ground balls.
- Benjamin Moscatiello posted three goals and two assists, while Logan Bauer finished with four goals and one assist. Nick Dower registered two goals, one assist, 13 ground balls and went 14-for-17 on face offs for Delhi.
- Samuel Steng made six saves allowing just two goals in the first half to earn the win, while James Sullivan turned aside nine shots surrendering five scores after the half.

The Roos are back in action on Saturday when they visit Husson at 1 p.m.
