New Haven, CT – Filip Jakobsson gave the Roos an early lead but host Albertus Magnus College scored five unanswered goals to earn a 5-1 win v. the SUNY Canton men's hockey team on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Neither team found the back of the net in the opening period as Pierce Diamond stopped all 11 shots he faced to keep things scoreless after one.
- Jakobsson got Canton the board at 12:22 of the middle period off passes from Jake Mayette and Colton Sipperley.
- The Falcons responded less than a minute later on the power play off the stick of Jonathan Stein.
- Stein gave the hosts the lead 2:21 into the third period on his second consecutive goal. Sam Anderson, Owen Allan and Ryan Colwell all added third period tallies leading to the 5-1 final.

- Diamond finished with 31 saves for the Roos, while Logan Bateman turned aside 25 shots for Albertus Magnus.
- The Roos were 0-for-3 on the power play, while the Falcons were 1-for-3.
