Potsdam, NY – Danny Santana led the Roos with 11 points as 13 different players scored in an 84-61 non-conference loss at Clarkson University on Monday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos led by as many as five at 31-26 after a Zion Tevaga layup with 4:56 left in the opening half. However, the Knights closed the half on a 16-3 run to take a 42-34 lead into intermission.
- DeMerrill Levy, Quran DuBois, Andrew Fitch and Peyton Olsen all had five first half points each for the Roos. Teddy Fravel paced the Knights with 12 points in the opening 20 minutes. SUNY Canton committed nine first half turnovers, while Clarkson had just three.
- Clarkson used its momentum from a strong finish to the first half outscoring the Roos by 15 after intermission.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Santana led the way with 11 points on 4-for-7 shooting. Fitch totaled seven points and eight rebounds, while Zion Tevaga scored a season-high six points off the bench. Olsen dished out a game-high five assists to go with seven rebounds and five points.
- Tevaga and Dominic Thomas both scored their first career points in a Canton uniform on Monday as 17 different players saw action.
- Teddy Fravel paced the Knights with 22 points on 10-for-16 shooting, while Blake Gearhart totaled 12 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Garret Delaney and Frankie Rainville chipped in nine points apiece.
- Clarkson shot 46.2% from the field compared to a 33.8% mark for the Roos.
- Canton controlled second chance points (25-13), while the Knights had the upper hand in points in the paint (48-24) and points off turnovers (26-5).
- With his one block tonight Fitch jumped into a tie for 19th all-time in NCAA Division III career blocks (318).
