Cobleskill, NY – Hunter Olsen and
Noah Robinson combined for 12 goals and six assists as the SUNY Canton men's lacrosse team picked up a big 25-13 road win at SUNY Cobleskill in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos jumped out to a quick 5-2 lead after the opening quarter. At one point from the first to second quarters Canton rattled off 12 of 14 scores to open a commanding 13-3 lead with 3:32 remaining after a Nick Walberger goal. The Roos led 14-5 at intermission.
- Canton continued to control play in the second half as numerous reserves saw action and contributed to a complete team effort.
- With the win the Roos improves to .500 overall and within conference play at 2-2.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Olsen led all players in points (11), goals (7), assist (4) and ground balls (7). Robinson had a strong outing tallying five goals and two assists. Jacob Facey was impressive offensively with two goals and two assists, while Kyle Fingar also had a hat trick.
- Trent Dow supplied one goal and two assists and Nick Walberger and Carter Pooler scored twice each. Colby Jenkinson recorded a goal and assist, while Zack LaFave and Mike Gariepy finished with a goal each.
- Justin LaDuke made six saves over the opening 30 minutes to earn the win. Nick Snyder also turned aside six shots playing the final 30 minutes of the contest.
- Joshua Rosado made 13 saves in the loss for Cobleskill.
- Giovanni Bevaqua paced the Fighting Tigers with five goals and two assists.

These two teams will have a rematch on Saturday when the Roos host SUNY Cobleskill.
