Canton, NY – Brendan Morrow and
Sam Martin both recorded their second goals of the season but visiting Oswego State scored four power play goals en route to an 8-2 win v. the SUNY Canton men's hockey team on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Morrow got the Roos off to an early lead when he scored his second collegiate goal at the seven-minute mark of the opening period. Carson Lanceleve and Connor Tuttle picked up assists on the score.
- The Lakers scored a power play goal at 15:21 off the stick of Tyler Flack to tie the game at one after 20 minutes.
- Oswego recorded four more goals over the opening 11 minutes of the second period to take a 5-1 lead. Alex DiCarlo, AJ Ryan, Garrett Clegg and Mac Lewis were credited with the Laker goals with DiCarlo and Clegg scoring with the skater advantage.
- Martin got the Roos within three when he buried his second collegiate goal off passes from Brady Morrison and Matthew Headland at 15:11 of the second. Oswego took a 5-2 lead into second intermission.
- The Lakers added three third period scores with DiCarlo and Flack picking up their second goals of the night and Travis Broughman capping the scoring at 15:25.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Flack and DiCarlo led the Lakers with two goals each, while Broughman finished with a goal and three assists.
- Both teams were strong on the power play as the Lakers went 4-for-7 and Canton was 1-for-2.
- SUNY Canton held a slim edge in face offs, 33-30.
- Eric Green made 14 saves in the win for Oswego, while Pierce Diamond turned aside 19 shots in defeat.
