Hamburg, NY – Juztin Chambers-Phillips scored a game-high 21 points as the SUNY Canton men's basketball team earned an 89-81 victory v. Keuka College in the consolation game of the Hilbert Hawks Against Hunger Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Keuka led by as many as seven points with 7:13 left in the opening half (33-26) but the Roos used a 15-2 run to take a 41-35 lead four minutes later. Canton extended their lead to nine at 53-44 as Peyton Olsen hit a jumper just before the half.
- The Wolfpack came out of the half on fire using a 10-0 run to take a 54-53 lead. Neither team led by more than four points until Canton opened a six-point lead (72-66) with 9:32 to play.
- With the game tied at 76 with 4:10 remaining the Roos closed the game on a 13-5 run to earn the victory.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Chambers-Phillips led the Roos with 21 points on 8-for-13 shooting, while Danny Santana added 14 points hitting all eight of his free throws.
- DeMerrill Levy and Justin Omaga supplied 13 points each with Omaga adding seven rebounds. Peyton Olsen chipped in 11 points and Andrew Fitch added eight points and a game-high 16 rebounds.
- The Roos shot 53.4 % from the field and 74.2 % from the free throw line. Keuka finished with marks of 27.0 % and 83.3 %, respectively.
- Zayquan Warren (13) and Jorden Lewis (10) led the Wolfpack in scoring.
Danny Santana was named to the All-Tournament Team for his performances throughout the weekend. Â

The men's basketball team will host SUNY Geneseo in their home opener on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Roos House.
