Sarah Balcom led the SUNY Canton defense with 11 digs but the women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest v. host SUNY Delhi on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SUNY Delhi jumped out to a 7-1 lead and ran off eight consecutive points on their way to a commanding 25-12 win in the opening set.
- The Roos were within 8-6 in the second stanza but the Broncos tallied 13 of the next 15 points to open up a 21-8 lead and take the frame, 25-10.
- Delhi used a 10-0 run in the third set to close out the match, 25-13.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Victoria Norton led the Roos with three kills, while Alyssa Adams and Cassidy Werner had two each. Balcom posted 11 digs and Peyton Nadeau chipped in eight. Bailey Nadeu recorded a team-best four assists.
- Sage Renneisen produced a match-high 13 kills for Delhi, while Stephanie Burke finished with nine. Bailee Jones and Lexi Taylor added six kills apiece.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Roos return to action on Saturday when they take part in NAC Pool Play at SUNY Poly. Canton will take on Cazenovia at 1 p.m. followed by host SUNY Poly at 3 p.m.
