Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton women's volleyball team fell 3-0 (16-25, 22-25, 18-25) to SUNY Delhi to close out their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) regular season schedule on Senior Day on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Delhi jumped out to an 8-3 lead in the opener and extended and used an 8-0 run to break open the set leading 16-4. Canton would trim the deficit late but fell 25-16 in the first.
- Leading 12-10 in the second stanza Delhi rattled off four straight points for a 16-10 advantage. The Roos used three straight points including a pair of kills from Cassidy Werner and Victoria Norton to get within 22-21, but the Broncos scored three of the final four to secure a 25-22 win.
- The third set saw the visitors lead 11-4, 16-7 and 19-9 on their way to closing out the match in straight sets.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Delhi hit .156 on 90 attack attempts (28 kills, 14 errors), while the Roos produced a 0.12 attack percentage on 83 attempts (21 kills, 20 errors).
- The Broncos had 13 aces from the service line compared to five for Canton, while the teams were even at five blocks apiece. The Roos (45) had five more digs than the Broncos (40).
- Alyssa Adams led Canton with six kills, while Norton finished with five. Michaella DeCapua and Bailey Nadeau had two aces each, while Bailey Nadeau posted 11 assists.
- Sarah Balcom led the team with three blocks, while O'Connor and Peyton Nadeau finished with 12 and 10 digs, respectively.
- Sage Renneisen and Stephanie Burke supplied seven kills each for the Broncos, while Rebecca Heuler tallied a match-high 15 digs.

The Roos return to action on Friday when they open play in the DeSales University Tournament against the tournament host at 7 p.m.
