Canton, NY – Hunter Olsen finished with two goals and one assist and
Jacob Facey added a goal and assist but visiting Clarkson University cruised to a 22-3 win v. the SUNY Canton men's lacrosse team on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SUNY Canton got off to an early lead just 56 seconds into the game when Facey found Olsen for his third goal of the season.
- Clarkson tied it two minutes later on a man-up goal from Pierce Currie.
- Olsen responded a minute later with his second goal of the game and fourth of the season off the set up from Andrew Garrett.
- From there the Golden Knights rattled off 10 consecutive scores to turn a 2-1 deficit into an 11-2 lead with 11:22 left in the second quarter.
- Facey netted his second goal of the year off a pass from Olsen three minutes later, but the visitors cashed in two more goals to take a 13-3 lead into intermission.
- The Knights held Canton scoreless in the second half while tallying nine goals with four in the third quarter and five in the fourth.
- Jay Considine paced Clarkson with four goals and one assist, while Conor Bartlett added two goals and four helpers. Currie added two goals and three assists and KJ Sarni registered two goals and two assists.
- The Knights controlled ground balls (64-29) and face offs (25-4).
- Justin LaDuke made 23 saves in the loss for the Roos. Kevin Dyckman played the first three quarters for Clarkson allowing three goals without a save. Matt Yonko and Alexandre Michaud did not face a shot in relief in the fourth quarter.

The Roos are off until March 7th when they visit Castleton at 1 p.m.
