Castine, ME – Quran DuBois scored a game-high 20 points to lead the SUNY Canton men's basketball team to a 69-62 road win v. Maine Maritime Academy in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- DuBois paced all scorers with 20 points to go with six rebounds. He shot 8-for-14 from the field and 4-for-7 from behind the arc. Danny Santana added 12 points, four rebounds and four assists, while Andrew Fitch came up one rebound short of a double-double with 11 points, nine rebounds and four blocks.
- Kahdean Bennett chipped in nine points, four rebounds and three assists.
- Nicholas DePatsy and Riley MacLeod totaled 12 points each for the Mariners, while DeMerrill Levy and Riley Jorgenson finished with 10 each.
- Canton led 16-10 seven minutes into the contest in a back-and-forth first half. The hosts took a 33-30 lead into intermission.
- MMA held a 58-53 lead with 5:57 to play in the second half but Canton closed the game on a 16-4 run over the final six minutes. DuBois posted seven points in the key stretch to end the game, while Fitch and Santana had four each.
- The Roos outscored the Mariners 34-15 in the paint and outrebounded them 43-35. SUNY Canton shot 47.5 percent from the field compared to a 37.3 mark for MMA.
