Nick Walberger led the Roos in faceoff wins and ground balls as the SUNY Canton men's lacrosse team earned a 14-8 road victory v. Wells College in non-conference action on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Facey led all players with six goals scoring his career-best mark on just eight shots on goal. Josh Yelvington added a goal and game-best three assists. Hunter Olsen and Andrew Garrett tallied two goals and an assist each, while Dante Coco, Josh Monplaisir and Sonny White also found the back of the net.
- Nick Walberger went 11-for-15 on faceoffs and posted a game-high seven ground balls. Brandon Schmidt had an impressive day defensively forcing a game-best six turnovers and added six ground balls, while Garrett Fields and Matt Conn totaled five ground balls each.
- The Roos jumped all over the Express early taking a 5-1 lead after the first quarter and a 9-3 lead into intermission. The teams played even after halftime as every player saw action for SUNY Canton.
- Justin LaDuke made two saves in the first quarter to earn the win. Parker Hornung played the second quarter making five saves, while Kody Kocsis and Dan Hartsock played the third and fourth quarters, respectively, logging two saves each.
- Cory Hodge Jr. made seven saves in the start taking the loss for Wells, while Trevor Stein made 13 saves in relief.
- Nathan Ramsey paced the Express with five goals, while Quinten Battle added a hat trick.
