Bryn Athyn, PA – Joe Deveny and
Tyson Bruce posted a goal and assist each as the SUNY Canton men's hockey team earned a 3-2 road win at Bryn Athyn College on Friday evening.
The win improves the Roos to 9-8-2 on the season setting a new program record for wins in the NCAA D-III era. The 2014-15 team had eight wins.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of second period power play goals. Tanner Schroeder scored his fifth of the season at 5:51 and Alec Grollman added his seventh of the season at 13:04 forcing a Canton timeout.
- Bryn Athyn was whistled for back-to-back penalties 18 seconds apart resulting in an extended 5-on-3 for Canton. The Roos responded as 12 seconds into the 5-on-3 Bruce posted his fifth goal in a Canton uniform. He now has 10 points in just eight games this season. Kyler Matthews and Max Routledge earned helpers on the play.
- Just 41 seconds after the Bruce goal, Zach Pease put home his first goal of the season off passes from Bruce and Deveny. Pease now has three points in his last two games.
- Deveny's sixth goal of the season at 13:25 of the third period proved to be the difference. Sean David and Bailey Conklin were credited with assists on the score.
- Michael Cerasuolo improved to 8-2-2 on the season stopping 24 of the 26 shots he faced. McKenzie Chalmers made 25 saves in the loss for the Lions.
