Canton, NY – Brandon Adkisson led six players in double figures with 19 points as the SUNY Canton men's basketball team improved to 7-2 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play with a 103-80 victory over Northern Vermont University-Johnson on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Adkisson tallied a team-high 19 points going 4-for-7 from behind the arc. Jordan Stewart finished with 17 points and a game-high six assists. Andrew Fitch recorded 14 points and six rebounds, while Danny Santana tallied 11 points. Joseph Werner came up one rebound short of a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds and Holliday, Jr. completed the double-digit scorers with 10.
- SUNY Canton shot 59 percent from the field (38-for-65) and 39 percent from three-point range (10-for-26), while the Badgers hit on 41 and 44 percent of their field goals and threes, respectively.
- Johnson jumped out to a 9-2 lead just over two minutes in but the Roos outscored the Badgers 49-27 the remainder of the half to take a 51-36 lead into intermission.
- The hosts were in control throughout the second half securing the convincing win.
- The 103 points are the most for the Roos since they scored 106 at Paul Smith's College on January 26, 2018 (106-68).
- Robert Dubose paced the Badgers with 26 points, while Haji Haji added 12 points.
- Canton held the upper hand in points in the paint (52-28), fast break points (12-2) and second chance points (14-4).
- Andrew Fitch was honored in a pre-game ceremony for setting the NCAA D-III era program record with 125 blocks. He currently sits at 137 blocks in just his second season.
