Canton, NY – Tatum Lafrance posted eight kills and 10 digs but host St. Lawrence defeated the Roos 3-1 (21-25, 25-23, 25-10, 25-17) on Friday evening in the Canton Classic at Burkman Gymnasium.Â
After a strong opening set that featured nine kills from the Roos (8-6), the Saints (11-5) bounced back with double digit kills in each of the next three sets to claim their second straight victory over SUNY Canton.
Lafrance and
Marissa Ixtlahuac led the Roos with eight kills apiece, while
Brynna Harris totaled six kills.
Jenna Roat recorded 14 digs, while
Jenifer Morgan-Aubin totaled 13 digs.
