Canton, NY – Four SUNY Canton players scored in double figures but a strong second half led host St. Lawrence University to a 94-71 victory v. the Roos on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- George Nehma led SUNY Canton with team-highs of 10 points and seven rebounds, while Brandon Adkisson, Robert Holliday, Jr. and Jordan Stewart all totaled 10 points and three assists each. Joseph Werner and Andrew Fitch chipped in nine and seven points, respectively, while hauling down five rebounds each.
- The Roos opened up an early 5-0 lead behind a Holliday, Jr. three-pointer and bucket inside from Werner. Neither team led by more than five in the opening half as a three-pointer from Dom DeRegis just before the halftime buzzer gave the Saints a 37-34 lead at intermission.
- The Saints extended their lead to double digits in the opening six minutes of the second half and ballooned the advantage to 16 midway through the half as they cruised to the victory.
- St. Lawrence held a 37-28 advantage in rebounding and hit on 59 percent (20-for-34) of their field goals after halftime.
- Ben Crawford led the Saints with a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Riley Naclerio (21) and DeRegis (13) also finished in double figures.
