Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton women's volleyball team defeated both NVU-Lyndon and NVU-Johnson in straight sets to improve to 13-12 and 4-1 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play.
The Roos swept a pair of matches with a 3-0 (25-9, 25-2, 25-8) win v. NVU-Lyndon and a 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-15) victory v. NVU-Johnson.
Match 1 – Box Score
The Roos pounded out 25 kills compared to just nine for the Hornets.
Marissa Ixtlahuac led the offense with seven kills, while
Brynna Harris and
Sydney Uthe added four apiece.
Jenna Roat pinpointed a match-high nine service aces, while
Peyton Robinson dished out 19 assists.
SUNY Canton recognized
Peyton Robinson and
Jenna Roat for reaching the 4,000 career assist and 1,500 career dig milestones in a pre-match ceremony.
Match 2 – Box Score
SUNY Canton finished with 28 kills compared to just 12 for the Badgers.
Tatum Lafrance and
Melissa McMaster paced the offense with eight kills apiece, while Harris added six. Lafrance tallied a match-high 10 digs and Robinson posted 26 assists.
