Williams Leads Roos with 15 Points in Setback v. Pine Manor

Chestnut Hill, MA – Adrian Williams led the Roos with 15 points but the SUNY Canton men's basketball team fell 83-63 to Pine Manor College on Saturday.
 
The Gators opened up a 43-24 lead at intermission behind eight first half points each from Steven Collins and Makai Hunter. Andrew Fitch paced the Roos with seven first half points.
 
Pine Manor extended its lead to as many as 31 in the second half cruising to the 20-point victory.
 
Jordan Stewart posted 13 points in the contest, while Fitch added 12 points and nine rebounds. Joseph Werner chipped in six points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
 
Pine Manor shot 50 percent from the field in the game, while Canton hit on just 29 percent of its field goals.
 
Ellis Reid led all players with 20 points, while Jamel Hamans and Eugene Everett added 10 points apiece.
