Adkisson and Smith Post Career-High Point Totals in 89-74 Win

Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton men's basketball team exploded for 55 second-half points to earn an 89-74 win v. visiting University of Maine Presque Isle on Friday evening.

The Roos (5-12) outscored the Owls (7-9) by 26 points after halftime to secure the victory.

Six different players scored in double figures as Jordan Stewart (15), Brandon Adkisson (14), Ibu Smith (14), Adrian Williams (13), Danny Santana (11) and Andrew Fitch (10) provided a balanced scoring attack for Canton. The 14 points for Adkisson and Smith were career-high scoring efforts, while Adkisson also tied a game-high with four assists and Fitch totaled a team-high eight rebounds.
 

Deandre Duncombe paced UMPI with 24 points, while Kim Collins added 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
