Deveny Scores Team-Leading 12th Goal, Four Second Period Goals Leads Mustangs Past Men’s Hockey

Reiserstown, MD – Joe Deveny scored his team-leading 12th goal of the season but four second period goals carried host Stevenson University to a 4-1 win over the SUNY Canton men's hockey team on Wednesday.
 
Jordan Watt, Dominic Brenza and Liam Walsh scored even-strength goals, while Jivan Sidhu added a power play goal for the Mustangs (6-4-5), all of which came in the second period.
 
Deveny got the Roos (3-11-2) on the board early in the third period, while Josh Sova and Ben Beasley added assists on the play.
 
Michael Cerasuolo made 32 saves in net including 17 in the second period, while Jacob Caffrey turned aside 24 shots for Stevenson.
