Plattsburgh, NY – The SUNY Canton women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep v. Plymouth State University on the second day of the Cardinal Classic on Saturday.
The Roos defeated the Panthers 25-17, 25-22, 25-14 to improve to 1-2 on the season. SUNY Canton finished with 40 kills compared to just 15 hitting errors in the match, while Plymouth State posted 23 kills and 24 errors.
Skye Hansen hit .348 with 11 kills on 23 attempts, while
Jordan Dormady hit at a rate of .409 with 10 kills.
Peyton Robinson dished out 26 assists, while
Shea Norton posted 10 digs and eight kills.
Norton was named to the All-Tournament Team for her performance on the weekend.

The women's volleyball team returns to action next weekend at the Victory Promotions Invitational hosted by Clarkson University and SUNY Potsdam. The Roos open on Friday at 7 p.m. v. Fredonia at Clarkson.
