Sova and Deveny Score as Men’s Hockey Closes out Weekend Series at Fredonia

Fredonia, NY –
Josh Sova and Joe Deveny each scored but the SUNY Canton men's hockey team dropped a 5-2 road decision closing out a weekend series at Fredonia on Saturday.
 
The Blue Devils (7-5-1) jumped out to a 3-0 lead just more than midway through the first period on goals by Todd Schauss, Colin Valentine and Mike Freeman.
 
The Roos (2-9-0) got one back on the power play at 15:04 as Tyler Bullard found Josh Sova for his sixth goal of the season.
 
Fredonia added a pair of goals from the sticks of Sam Wilbur and Josh Biasillo in the second period to lead 5-1 after two. Deveny added his team-leading eighth of the year at 12:32 of the third for the 5-2 final.
