Box Score (Malden, Mass.) – The SUNY Canton baseball team lost to Fisher College 5-1 Thursday night in Malden, Mass.
The Roos (3-13) scored their lone run in the seventh inning. Freshman
Braden Giffin (Lake Worth, Fla.) led off the inning reaching on a Falcons error and eventually moved to third on another Fisher error. Freshman
Kyle Sacks (Clifton Park, N.Y.) then brought Giffin home with a single and his his 11
th RBI of the season.

Luis Ramirez (Gurabo, Puerto Rico) each finished with two singles and junior
Nick Belile (Norwood, N.Y.) had one.
Freshman
Khalil Bratton (Far Rockaway, N.Y.) was hit with the loss on the mound as he struck out three batters and allowed one earned run on four hits in four innings. Sophomore
James Amelotte (Cornwall, Ontario) came on in relief and fanned two batters and gave up two earned runs and five hits in four innings.
Davidson Peguero smacked a solo home run to lead Fisher and Eridani Dume added two RBIs. Michael Callahan recorded six strikeouts in six innings to earn the win.
The two teams square off again on Friday in a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m.
