Chavarri hit .406 (13-for-32) with four doubles, six runs, a home run and 5 RBI in her first collegiate week of softball. The freshman also earned a pair of wins on the mound recording three complete games while tossing 35.2 innings with 14 strike outs. She had four multi-hit games in Florida including a 3-for-4 performance where she hit a 2 RBI double in the top of the seventh and also earned the win in a 6-5 win v. RIT. Chavarri also went 2-for-4 with two runs and a home run in a loss to Martin Luther.
