Carroll was a force defensively for SUNY Canton making a number of truly remarkable plays during the tournament to keep the Roos in points. The junior ranked fourth in the tournament in digs (71) and eighth in digs per set (3.94). Her strong defense helped lead the Roos to the third most digs per set of any team in the tournament (19.19). She finished with a week-high 20 digs in the tight four set loss to Rochester College in the semifinals and followed it up with 14 in a sweep of Alfred State in the third place match.
