A 2013 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-American, Meade opened the 2014 season in impressive fashion earning medalist honors and first place overall at the Utica College Fall Invitational on Sunday. After tying for low round of the day with a 2-over par, 72, the junior won a playoff on the second hole to claim medalist honors.

The win is the second in the last two seasons for the Tupper Lake native. The men’s golf team returns to the links Saturday and Sunday at the St. Lawrence University Invitational. Tee times are set for 1 p.m. and 8 a.m., respectively.
