• Tallied 36 digs during her rookie campaign

• Makenna played four years each of volleyball and basketball at Massena
• In volleyball she earned the Sportsmanship Award and Athlete of Distinction award
• In basketball she earned the Athlete of Distinction award and the Katie O’Shaughnessy award. Her basketball team won the Class A championship in 2022
• She played club volleyball for the Seaway Smash Patriots

Who is your personal hero/idol and why? My older brother because has coached me throughout my high school career and taught me hard work and dedication and formed me into the person I am today.

Why did you choose SUNY Canton: The staff at SUNY Canton made me feel welcomed and valued at the school. I felt that all staff members carried the same message of “I want you at my school!”
What do you like most about SUNY Canton: I love that I get to experience all aspects of college life like sports, clubs, and academics while being close to home and friends while still making new memories and meeting new people.
