2016 Season
Appeared in 113 sets over 34 matches leading the team with 359 kills (3.18/set) while also finishing second with 343 digs (3.04/set)… Kelsy also finished with 22 blocks and 34 service aces… Struck for a season-high 17 kills on three separate occasions v. Albright (9/23), v. Hartwick (9/30) and v. Oswego State (10/15)… Recorded a season-best 21 digs v. Hilbert (9/16)… Cornish was named to the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) First Team and was an AD3I Player of the Week… Named an ECAC Second Team All-Star, a USCAA Second Team All-American and to the USCAA All-Academic Team.

2015 Season
Appeared in 136 sets over 40 matches played during her junior year…Finished the season with 378 kills (2.78/set), 37 service aces, and 388 digs (2.85/set).  Posted 23 digs against Wells College (10/31) and 16 kills against SUNY Delhi (10/24)…Was recognized as a Second Team All-American.

2014 Season
Appeared in 107 sets over 34 matches in her second season with the Roos… Finished the season with 215 kills (2.01/set), 28 service aces, and 238 digs (2.22/set)… Posted a season-high 20 digs and nine kills against Oswego State on 9/20… Recorded double digit kills five times and in three straight matches… Registered double digit kills seven times including 16 or more five different times… Named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-Academic Team.

2013 Season
Appeared in 116 sets over 37 matches leading the Roos with 294 kills (2.53/set) to go with 230 digs (1.98/set) during her rookie season… The freshman also finished third on the team in service aces with 64 (0.55/set)… Produced double digit kills in 11 different matches including putting down a season-high 16 balls with just one error in a 3-1 win against St. Michael’s on 9/6… Posted a whopping 11 service aces compared to just one error in a five set win over Hilbert on 10/25… Dug up a season-best 17 balls in a five set loss to Kean on 10/4… Became the first Roo volleyball player to be named an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week on 10/16.

High School
Kelsy was a two-sport athlete competing in volleyball and softball at Honeoye Central School… She was named First Team All-League three times in volleyball and softball… Kelsy was a two-year captain of the volleyball team, Most Valuable Player and named Sectional Finals Player of the Year her senior year… She was a member of the Xtreme Volleyball club team from seventh grade through her senior season.

Born Sept. 4th, 1995 she is the daughter of Richard and Mary Beth Cornish… Sister of Hailey & Zachary… Kelsy is a Physical Therapy Assistant & Health & Fitness Promotion major.

Reason You Chose SUNY Canton: PTA program, Coach LaMarche and the volleyball program.
Plans For After Graduation: Go to grad school to achieve a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
