- Ava attended Schuylerville Central High School where she played soccer, competitive cheer in fall and winter, and lacrosse
- Named First Team in Foothills Council for lacrosse
- Named Female Athlete of the Year her senior year because she balanced four sports and was a captain in all sports
- Her competitive cheer team was three-time Sectional Champions in Section II and her lacrosse team was also three-time Sectional Champions
