Chris Azzano, originally from Oshawa, Ontario, joins the SUNY Canton coaching staff after graduating from Morrisville State College in May of 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Azzano played one season at Wentworth Institute of Technology before transferring to Morrisville. In his three seasons as a Mustang, he became the first goaltender to be named team captain in program history and graduated ranked second in program history in total saves. Azzano was a SUNYAC Goalie of the Week and was named to three SUNYAC All-Academic Teams, as well as two SUNYAC Commissioner’s Lists for academic achievement.
Azzano has worked at several hockey and goaltending camps in Ontario, and most recently was a member of the Blue Line Hockey School at Morrisville State.
