Cobleskill, NY – Sophomore Nicole Morrow made six saves in a tight defensive game but the SUNY Canton women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Both teams played fairly equal through most of the first half, but Alexa Siegel broke the scoreless tie in the 33^rd minute to put Cobleskill up 1-0.
• The Roos outshot the Tigers six to four in the second half but could not find the equalizer as timed drained off the clock.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• The Fighting Tigers had the edge in shots (9-8) and shots on goal (7-3) with the Roos leading in corner kicks (7-3).
• Kate Whitley, Summer Foster and Hailey Hassos all recorded shots on goal for the Roos.
• Morrow made six saves, three in each half for Canton with Sammy Fausti stopping three for Cobleskill.

The Roos stay on the road, traveling over to face VTSU Lyndon tomorrow, September 27^th for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
