Penn Yan, NY – Mason Dumas and
Blake Morrill led the SUNY Canton men's golf teams with rounds of 87 at the Keuka Fall Invitational at Lakeside Country Club on Thursday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Morrill carded a 43 on the front and 44 on the back, while Dumas finished with a 44 on the front and 43 on the back. The duo recorded six pars each and tied for 12th place out of 38 golfers.
- Tyler Martin finished with a 90 (43-47) with six pars, while Owen Sacks registered a 91 (46-45) with six pars.
- The Roos rested several golfers including two-time reigning Empire 8 Golfer of the Week Raine Rumble amidst a busy stretch of events.
- Canton's squad finished in fourth place out of eight teams with 355 strokes. Russell Sage won the team event with 336 strokes ahead of Cobleskill (339).
- Luke Finlan earned medalist honors for Russell Sage with a 76 (+4)

The Roos return to the links on Saturday for the opening round of the two-day Oswego State Fall Invitational at Oswego Country Club. Tee times are set for 11 a.m. as it begins a stretch of 54 holes in three days.
