Canton, NY – Raine Rumble, a sophomore on the men's golf team, and Emerson Coulter, a junior on the women's volleyball team, have been named this week's Roos of the Week.

Rumble had a monster week over two rounds for the Roos last week. The reigning Empire 8 Men's Golfer of the Week tied for second individually out of 51 golfers at the SUNY Canton Invitational on Tuesday shooting an even par 72. He shot three under (33) on the front nine with three birdies and six pars. Meanwhile, he went three over on the back with six pars as he finished just one shot back of earning medalist honors. Rumble followed that up by shooting a round of 71 (E) at the first round of the Utica Fall Invitational at Yahnundasis Golf Club on Sunday. He sits in first place out of 35 golfers after 18 holes of the 36-hole tournament. Rumble went out in 34 (-2) and came home in 37 (+2) as he recorded four birdies and 11 pars on his round.

Coulter was a force both offensively and defensively leading the Roos to a 3-1 record last week as she averaged 3.44 kills, 2.63 digs and 0.63 blocks per set finishing the week with 55 kills and a remarkable .339 hitting % (55-13-124). She opened the week with 13 kills, eight digs, three aces and two blocks in a 3-1 win against Hilbert on Friday. The junior followed that up with 20 kills, the second most in a four-set match in the Roos D-III era record book, as she hit a remarkable .529 (20-2-34) with seven digs, three aces and two blocks in a 3-1 win against Keuka on Friday. Coulter tied a match-high with 16 kills and five aces and added a team-best 18 digs in a 3-2 loss to VTSU Johnson on Saturday. She closed out the week with six kills, nine digs and two blocks in a sweep against SUNY Poly on Saturday.
