Syracuse, NY – After strong weeks on their respective playing surfaces juniors Emerson Coulter and Markel Mosley and sophomore Nicole Morrow earned weekly honors from the SUNYAC. Coulter was named the Spry SUNYAC Women's Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week, Mosley earned Spry SUNYAC Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week recognition and Nicole Morrow was honored as the Spry SUNYAC Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week.  

Coulter was a force both offensively and defensively leading the Roos to a 3-1 record last week as she averaged 3.44 kills, 2.63 digs and 0.63 blocks per set finishing the week with 55 kills and a remarkable .339 hitting % (55-13-124). She opened the week with 13 kills, eight digs, three aces and two blocks in a 3-1 win against Hilbert on Friday. The junior followed that up with 20 kills, the second most in a four-set match in the Roos D-III era record book, as she hit a remarkable .529 (20-2-34) with seven digs, three aces and two blocks in a 3-1 win against Keuka on Friday. Coulter tied a match-high with 16 kills and five aces and added a team-best 18 digs in a 3-2 loss to VTSU Johnson on Saturday. She closed out the week with six kills, nine digs and two blocks in a sweep against SUNY Poly on Saturday.
 

Less than four minutes after coming on as a substitute Mosley delivered his first goal of the season, the eventual game-winner for the Roos in a 3-0 win against VTSU Castleton on Sunday. The sophomore put home a beautiful header of a corner kick in the 30th minute to give Canton a 1-0 halftime lead en route to their first win of the season. Mosley found the back of the net on his only shot attempt of the game.
 

Morrow recorded a five save shutout in her first ever appearance in goal leading the Roos to a 0-0 draw in their SUNYAC opener against visiting SUNY Delhi on Friday. With the draw the team earned their first point in the SUNYAC standings. The sophomore turned aside three shots in the first half and two more in the second half to preserve the tie. After the strong performance in goal on Friday for the women's soccer team, the dual sport athlete took to the trails the next morning for the cross country team at the Hoffman Invitational at St. Lawrence. She was the second Roo across the finish line covering the 6-kilometer course in 31:03.
