Oswego, NY – Sophomore
Kahontiio Lazore posted a round of 3-over par, 74, on the first day of the Oswego State Fall Invitational placing him in fourth after one round of play on Saturday afternoon. The SUNY Canton men's golf team is currently in sixth place heading into the final round of play on Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lazore shot 36 on the front nine and 38 on the back to tie for fourth place out of 51 golfers. He recorded three birdies, 8 pars and six bogeys.
- Raine Rumble tied for seventh with a 75 (36-39) tallying two birdies, 11 pars, four bogeys and one double. Raine is currently tied for seventh.
- Anthony Marion posted a 76 (36-40) registering 14 pars, three bogeys and one double. Marion is currently tied for 13th.
- Tyler Martin scored an 80 (39-41) competing as an individual and Sam Eells is at 85 (40-45). Kyle Murphy rounded out the Canton competitors with an 87 (42-45).
- Clarkson University currently leads the field (+14), followed by Hobart (+19) and Nazareth (+23). SUNY Canton is in sixth place at +26.

The Roos return to the course for the second day of the Oswego State Fall Invitational at Oswego Country Club on Sunday with tee times beginning at 10:30 a.m.
