Raine Rumble shot a round of five-over par, 76, to lead the Roos to a third place finish out of seven teams as the SUNY Poly Invitational at Teugega Country Club on Monday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rumble went out in two-over par 38 with a birdie on hole eight and came home in three-over 38 with birdies on 13 and 18 to finish in a tie for third place out of 38 golfers.
- Anthony Marion tied for eighth place with a 79 (39-40) as he birdied holes nine and 17. Tyler Martin tied for 15th with an 81 (40-41) with birdies on holes five and 18, while Sam Eells tied for 18th with an 82 (41-41) with birdies on eight and 11.
- Mason Dumas rounded out the Canton competitors with a 103 (53-50).
- The Roos finished in third place with 318 strokes out of the seven team field. Nazareth (307) edged Utica (308) to win the team event.
- Utica's Ayden Parekh earned medalist honors with a 74 edging out Nazareth's Lincoln Crosby.
