- Canton jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on Caron's goal which game only 114 seconds into the contest.
- The host Red Dragons rattled off two straight goals to take a 2-1 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- Cortland scored six straight goals to start the second stanza ballooning the lead to 8-1.
- The Roos struck again with roughly two minutes remaining in the period off a goal by Nappi.
- Wunder recorded her first assist of the game on Nappi's goal.
- The Red Dragons ended the half scoring two more times taking a 10-2 lead into the intermission.
- Cortland scored eight goals in the third quarter to take an 18-2 lead into the fourth.
- McCormick scored to open up the fourth quarter on another assist from Wunder.
- The hosts again went on to score three more goals before the Roos struck again.
- Wunder added two more goals to the Roos totals while Caron ended the game the way she started by scoring another goal.
