Rylynn Martin-McIntyre both recorded hits in the bottom of the fourth inning to lead the Roos on the road at Clarkson. The Roos fell to the Golden Knights by a final score of 14-0 in five innings on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Roos immediately started off the game with two walks as senior Torie Moore and freshman Bella Betancur both reached base.
- Moore and Betancur also each recorded a stolen base during the first inning. Unfortunately the Roos were not able to capitalize on the baserunners leaving one on base.
- The Golden Knights scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning.
- Hobart walked for the Roos to open the second inning.
- The game would remain 3-0 in favor of the host Knights heading into the third inning.
- The Knights walked multiple batters during the top of the third inning as freshman Jordyn Tarbox, Betancur and Moore would all reach base during the top of the third.
- Clarkson reached base during the bottom of the third inning but left the runner stranded keeping the contest at 3-0 heading into the fourth inning
- Hobart and Martin-McIntyre both recorded their hits during the top of the fourth inning for the Roos
- The Roos had runners at second and third base with the tying runner at the plate but were unable to bring either runner home in the top of the fourth inning.
- The Golden Knights scored 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning extending their lead to 14-0. Clarkson recorded ten hits during the inning.
- The Roos were unable to get on the board in the fifth inning.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Moore appeared at the plate three times during the contest and reached base all three times on walks. Betancur also reached on walks twice.
- Junior Maggi Yandoh, Hobart and Tarbox also all reached base on walks during the contest.
- Yandoh pitched for the Roos forcing five ground outs and six fly outs. She allowered 14 runs, only seven of which were earned with four walks in four innings.Â
- Yandoh takes the loss for the Roos while Clarkson had four different pitchers take the mound during the contest with Bella Hotchkiss earning the win
- Clarkson had 16 players take at bats during the contest and recorded 16 hits total in the contest
- The Roos had two errors in the contest while the Golden Knights had one.

The Roos are back in action against Oneonta on Friday for their first SUNYAC doubleheader of the season at home at 3 PM.   Â
