HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Cortland jumped out to a quick 6-2 lead, the Roos were able to move ahead 9-8 on two consecutive layups by Nate Cohen.
- The Red Dragons scored 24 of the next 28 points to take a 32-13 lead. A pair of free throws by Goode Jr. and a layup by Bryon Streb closed the gap to 35-17 at the half.
- Canton played even with Cortland early in the second half and closed the gap to 47-33 on a Larson layup midway through the second.
- Another pair of free throws by Goode Jr. got the Roos within 11 with just over four minutes to play. But Canton could get no closer with Cortland winning the game 67-52.

- Goode Jr's 14 points led the way for the Roos. Larson add 12 points, Streb and Cohen finished with six each.
- Larson, Cohen and Streb each secured a team-high 5 rebounds.
- Kendrick Wilson led the Red Dragons with 26 points. Joel Davis grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds.
- Canton had an edge in points off turnovers (13-11), second-chance points (12-10) and points in the paint (24-20).
- Cortland had the edge in bench points (31-9) and the teams both had four fast break points each.
