Sierra Pabo all scored in double figures as the Roos outscored the Cardinals by 11 points in the second quarter of a key 58-46 SUNYAC win on Saturday afternoon. With the win SUNY Canton vaults to alone in fourth place in the SUNYAC standings with two league games remaining. The three and four seeds in the upcoming SUNYAC Tournament host first round games. The Roos have now clinched a SUNYAC playoff berth.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Plattsburgh jumped out to an early 10-2 lead just less than four minutes in. The Cardinals continued to lead 17-10 before an Aniceto three trimmed the Canton deficit to 17-13 after the opening quarter. Aniceto had nine points in the opening 10 minutes.
- The Cardinals led 25-23 with 2:23 left in the first half, but Canton closed the stanza on a 9-0 run to take a 32-25 lead into intermission.
- Aniceto led all players with 14 first-half points, while Bartle added 12. Peyton Couture paced Plattsburgh with 12 points. The Roos shot 43% (6-for-14) from three-point range in the first half.
- The hosts scored the first bucket out of half extending the lead to nine (34-25). The Cardinals chipped away at the lead getting within 41-39 with 1:33 left in the third. The Roos led 45-40 after three quarters.
- The Cardinals trimmed their deficit to three (47-44) in the fourth frame, but Canton responded with a 11-0 run to put the game away.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Aniceto led the Roos with 18 points and added three steals hitting four of her nine three-point attempts. Bartle stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points, four rebounds and game-highs of four assists and four steals. Pabo chipped in 10 points, four rebounds and four assists, while Torie Moore added six points and nine rebounds. Natalie Bush added six points hitting both of her threes in nine minutes off the bench.
- Couture led the Cardinals with a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds, while Julia Greek added nine points and Imani Walcott had eight.
- The Roos shot 34% from the field, 35% from three and 70% from the line compared to marks of 26%, 22% and 79%, respectively. for the Cardinals.
- Plattsburgh controlled rebounds 46-35 but turned the ball over 23 times compared to just 14 for Canton.
- The Roos had the upper hand in points off turnovers (18-3), points in the paint (18-14) and bench points (8-3).
